Environmental Reporting
BHE GT&S has two facilities in Maryland subject to specific environmental monitoring and reporting, whose information can be found on this page, in alignment with COMAR 26.11.41.07B. In the rare case that either of these facilities – Cove Point LNG in Lusby or the Myersville Compressor Station – experiences a significant natural gas venting event, we will post a notification to this page as soon as possible, but no later than two weeks after the event. If you would like to sign up for direct email alerts when an event occurs, please use the form(s) provided below.
BHE GT&S is also making available to the public Leak Detection and Repair (LDAR) summary reports for each location quarterly, which will be posted here shortly after completion. Reports older than 24 months from the date of the survey may be obtained from the Maryland Department of the Environment.
